When he's not throwing down at parties with Mike Uzzi, or rocking the basement with the Saltmine, or droning out with the Fun Years, Ben Recht directs his creative tendencies into Localfields. fusing indie-rock songwriting sensibilities with the cut-and-paste ethic of minimal techno, Localfields has released two singles on zer0g sounds and has upcoming releases on unlockedgroove and beat research. He has toured extensively throughout the US and Europe and his Sound Art has been exhibited in the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art, the Cooper Hewitt Museum, and the ARS Electronica Center.
